INORGANIC NANOMATERIALS PATH FROM DESIGN TO COMMERCIALIZATION
At AviXéla, we aim to provide the singular services that empower our clients in their business goals. We deliver a customer-focused approach in product design and development with a dedicated team of qualified professionals and lifecycle support throughout the manufacturing process. Whether you have a feasibility study or are interested in assembling a conceptual design, AviXéla wants to provide engineering support from applied research to commercialization. Our solutions-based approach allows to optimize primary nanomaterials based on specific industrial application to enable towards commercialization path.
Our team employes collaboration and partnership in order to follow your goals and applies commercialization scalability through a phased development approach:
AviXéla develops alternative solutions for nanomaterials production that will be implemented in nanomaterial sciences, nanoelectronics, and nanomedicine. Nevertheless, nanotechnology has a broad application in performance materials, developing nations are still lagging to meet their industrial progression. Using advanced nanoplasmonic technology, our team designed and implemented innovative system that relatively efficient and productive. Being concerned about the financial standing of green technologies, we think that our methods are clear, cleaner, and more affordable compared to the chemical synthesis, mass bulking, and heavy machinery.
Our team of basic scientists, analytical chemists, physicists, and cutting-edge engineers will identify structured approaches and design aligned applications to improve the company’s research, interdisciplinary collaboration and to remove the indirect consequences of technical innovations at the environmental level. We have decades of experience implementing and keeping open options for innovative technologies in the related subjects at designated industrial applications.
At AviXéla we optimize and design custom nanomaterials, working with an expansive list of noble, alloy, and compound metals, allowing our customers to rely on us no matter how much nanomaterial expertise they have coming into our partnership. We keep all candidate materials, coming out of our company, confidential to the specific project they were designed for. During discovery, we will discuss primary project goals and create the path of testing commercially available options, optimizing materials to meet their specific product requirements.
The initial design typically includes material(s) of interest and desired specifications, including form, composition, particle size, along with price and volume targets for the material. If during primary meeting we believe that there is a viable path forward, we move forward with an NDA and toward a more in-depth discussion between AviXéla technical team and the client’s technical support about critical specifications or learnings they may have, with a goal of generating a scope of work and estimate for the project. If you are looking for commercially available sample options, we recommend checking out catalog providers like Fortis Life Sciences and Sigma Aldrich.
Avixela encompasses scientific discovery, research, and customized product development. We identify the feasibility study and enforce continuing development of integrative solutions in the related subjects at designated product components of nanomaterials designed. We collaborate with the client’s internal product development systems and processes, as well as partner with established engineering and analytical facilities in order to deliver the specified product quality.
We shape the main budget according to the clients’ prior attempts or knowledge of the significant expenses associated with maintaining the necessary expertise and equipment for in-house development, as opposed to the potential cost benefits of outsourcing their projects. We guarantee the cost effectiveness and speed of production necessary for specified industrial application after the initial technical assessment.
We discuss with our clients the expectation setting during this scoping phase is essential for the client’s product, process and technical requirements. Whereas the phase durations and budgets can be reevaluated during the production cycle. Once a successful production design is developed, such as utilizing specific processes, synthetic routes, we will move forward with the scale-up, commercialization viability, and budget phased approach to development.
AviXéla embody and inspire change that is focused on producing specific products as a true engineering partner to our customers by delivering cost effective design, analysis, testing and integration services. Our team enforces the applied sciences and implies systemic approach in fundamentals by pioneering use of alternate energy sources for material processing with improved and/or combined properties in accelerated and controllable applications. We promote additional discussion of new research ideas, emerging technologies, and technology transition, and address questions from potential proposers. We engage the full spectrum of our specialized in-house team through leveraging in-house design for manufacturing (DFM) process that is critical for fostering optimal outcomes throughout the project lifecycle. While designing the nanomaterial of interest, we prepare for scale-up DFM best practices including a set of strategies, methodologies and tools to ensure that nanomaterials made in the company are seamless and cost-effective.
Go-no-go decision making
During each phase of the process, we deliver continuous collaboration including status reports with complete analytical characterization. This approach allows to move forward into the next phase of the program and empower decisions about the project’s viability, sensibility, and product optimization.
Phase I
During the first phase of the project, client material of interest will be developed based on the preliminary project inputs during the scoping process. Our goal is to establish proof of concept in a timely manner through collaborative efforts with the top facilities, if necessary, at academic setting or private entities in order to perform analytical services and to ensure that clients project stays on a reasonable budget.
Phase II
Phase II of the project determine the nanomaterial formula and finalize the proof of the concept established by the client in their product or system. At this point the material is scaled from benchtop to pilot production, and the path toward manufacturing starts to take shape including processing, volume projections, price targets. Our team will take the lead in providing a cost simulation for the client for various volume scenarios looking forward to understanding the economies of scale and potential outcomes.
Phase III
The final phase of the formal project is to scale-up from a pilot to full production. Our team of engineers and scientists has been working side by side with the client development team during the entire project to ensure that the initial formula can scale to commercialization volumes and maintain all the desired characteristics.
AviXéla is a New York based company in the field of nanotechnology, but our team has expertise in the areas of consumer electronics, medical devices, assembly and fabrication, metal and special purpose machining, injection molding, sheet metal design, composites, CNC machining, rapid prototyping and structural design, and other manufacturing industries for more than 20 years. We have invested $1M in nanoscale capabilities and continued to develop methodologies and best practices for preserving the technical attributes of nanoparticles during scale up with some proprietary processes surpassing the maturity of the industry overall.
We support our clients with various levels of pilot production for nanomaterial prototyping and qualification, up through and including, industrial scale manufacturing, based on their commercialization needs. The design of our production methods and systems allows us to scale-up, scale-down and rapidly reset between manufacturing runs to ensure we can meet their requirements at every stage.
Quality and consistency during production is paramount. Our specialized in-house team will ensure both timely and accurate results, quality, cost, and timeline parameters. We start each manufacturing event with robust quality assurance requirements for our raw materials and continue with in-line and off-line quality control throughout the manufacturing process. Each batch will test for quality based on the client specifications. Our process ends with a certificate of analysis for the finished material, which verifies material specifications known to demonstrate performance in our customer’s product.
We develop repeatable and scalable processes. Our nanomaterial manufacturing expertise allows us to scale horizontally or vertically and build out additional production lines if required to support our client’s needs both quickly and cost effectively.
