INNOVATING BIOLOGICAL SYSTEMS THROUGH NANOTECHNOLOGY

AviXéla was born from a scientific vision, created from the fields of molecular biology, quantum physics, and nanotechnology. Since then, bionanotechnology, which incorporates the quality of nanomaterials into biological systems and miniaturizes biotechnology products to nanometer size, became a greater goal to be reached out. The fascinating field of nanobiotechnology leverages the unique properties of nanomaterials and nanodevices, exploring sustainability of inexpensive assays, therapies, and many industrial applications.

PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES OF ANTI-AGING PROCEDURES

EXPLORE

Development and implementation of natural treatment modalities, specifically targeting aging pathways, has become a vital task of medical research and healthcare. The innovative research platform, translational geroscience, aims to optimize and preserve physical and psychosocial functioning throughout the human lifespan to achieve optimal longevity.

The chronic oxidative stress and related systemic inflammation are undoubtedly among pathways most significantly contributing to cellular senescence and aging. Phyto-bioactive compounds, such as curcumin, resveratrol, catechins, and quercetin are the most applied natural compounds used as natural anti-aging modulators. The therapeutic potential of these compounds is, however, restricted by their low bioavailability related to poor solubility, stability, and absorbance.

Our Approach

AviXéla produces advanced nanostructures that can act by active targeting. This active delivery mode allows the controlled release of transported biomolecules at the targeted body sites. We generate unique gold, platinum, palladium, and silver nanomaterials with anti-aging, anti-oxidative, and anti-inflammatory properties. These inorganic nanoparticles can be modified with various chemical functional groups, which allow them to be conjugated with different drugs of interest to target certain cells and tissues.

Given the limitations of non-renewable energy sources, there's a growing need for more sustainable and efficient energy solutions. Convergent technologies, which combine multiple technologies to create innovative solutions, offer a promising path toward a more sustainable future. Several nanotechnologies, powered by biological-renewable energy sources, have been introduced. By manipulating matter at the nanoscale, these technologies enable the integration of multiple functionalities into a single system.

According to the definition by National Nanotechnology Initiatives, nanotechnology is an advanced area of research that allows us to produce a wide class of materials with size-and structure-dependent properties and phenomena in the nanoscale range less than 100 nm. This field has revolutionized various industries, including:

  • Agriculture:
    • Nanofertilizers and Pesticides: These are designed to deliver nutrients and pesticides more efficiently, reducing environmental impact.
    • Nanosensors: These can detect plant diseases, pests, and soil conditions early on, enabling timely intervention.
  • Medicine:
    • Drug Delivery: Nanomaterials can deliver drugs directly to target cells, increasing efficacy and reducing side effects.
    • Tissue Engineering: Nanotechnology can be used to create artificial tissues and organs.
    • Medical Imaging: Nanoparticles can enhance imaging techniques like MRI and CT scans.
  • Environmental Science:
    • Water Purification: Nanomaterials can filter water and remove contaminants.
    • Air Purification: Nanomaterials can capture pollutants from the air.

By harnessing the unique properties of materials at the nanoscale, nanotechnology offers innovative solutions to global challenges, from food security to healthcare.
